Roy Benjamin Posey, Sr., 73, of Clarksburg passed away Monday, August 22, 2011. He was born February 4, 1938 in Weston the son of the late Charles Posey and Ruby Riffle Posey. The father of eight children, he is survived by Lylla J. Ables and husband Alvy of Clarksburg, Roy B. Posey, Jr., Robert L. Posey and wife Carolyn of Ohio, Charles E. Posey and wife Sue of Jane Lew, Ruth A. Ables and Gayle Glaspell of Salem, Arnett Posey and Arnold “Dale” Posey and Marlena Christo of Clarksburg; 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; one brother Eugene Posey and two sisters; Martha Posey and Blondie Posey. He was preceded in death by one daughter Kayla W. Posey. Roy was self employed as a handyman. At the family’s request Mr. Posey will be cremated.
