Roy B. Girtman, age 83, of Arcadia, IN died Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Riverview Hospital. He was born September 11, 1928 at Cave City, Arkansas to Roy and Bevley (Nelligan) Girtman.
Roy worked at Firestone at Noblesville for many years. He worked different jobs there, but mostly he built tank tracks.
Surviving him are two sons: Dale (Nancy) Girtman of Mulberry, IN, Chris (Cindy) Girtman of Cicero, IN, three daughters: Beverly Girtman of Carmel, IN, Gwen Girtman of Noblesville, IN and Carolyn Prairie of Carmel, IN, sisters: Mary Jane, Agnes, Peggy and Fannie, 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents is a great-grandson: Steven Powell, brothers: Coy Lee Girtman and Ray Girtman, and a step-sister: Sybil Perky.
