Obit Roy Allen Thompson-69 of Hebron, NE
Roy grew up in the North Platte area attending school to the 6th grade.
Roy worked several places as a mechanic in construction including Werner Construction.
Roy married Jean Nelson September 5, 1992 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gage County by Rev. Phillip Nielson. He enjoyed being out in God’s creation especially fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters-in-law Mary and Patty, and granddaughter Jessica.
He is survived by his wife Jean Thompson of Hebron, NE, son Ernest Thompson of Texas, step-son Kevin Mohnike of Sutton, NE, step-daughter Brenda Nuss and husband Gary of Sutton, NE, brother Joe Thompson and sister Virginia both of North Platte, NE, two grandchidren Jenna and Jaden.
Following Roy’s wishes he was cremated and a private family service will follow at a later date.
