Details: Roy Allen Longanecker Jr. 66, a resident of Millersville, died August 25, at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie. He was born February 14, 1944 in Washington DC to Agnes L. Longanecker of Homosassa, Florida and the late Roy L. Longanecker Sr. He was a self employed contractor in the Anne Arundel Co. area. He graduated 1962 from the Leonardtown High School. He served in the US Army from 1963 to 1967. In the early to mid 70’s he was a police office with the Upper Marlboro Police Department. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by a son Roy A. Longanecker III of Baltimore, a step-daughter Sally Spokes of Crofton, 2 brothers Carl L. Longanecker of West Virginia and Lewis E.
