Roxiena M. Fish, 87, passed away peacefully at her home in Meridian, surrounded by her husband and loved ones, on Tuesday, May 26, 2015.
Roxiena was born on December 3, 1927 in Emmett, Idaho to Louis and Erma (Lake) Howard. She became a Licensed Vocational Nurse in 1971. Despite her painful osteoporosis, she nourished her patients, friends and family with her love, witty personality and faith.
Roxiena enjoyed cross stitching, reading and painting on her wood crafts. Very dear to her heart was crocheting shawls with the members of the Holy Apostles Shawl Ministry.
Roxiena is survived by her husband Joe Fish to whom she was married for 43 years.
Joe would like to extend his gratitude to all who have helped Roxiena with the care of her health, including Horizon Home Health and Hospice.
