Roxann Buhler Norman passed away on May 20, 2016 following a four year battle with cancer.  Roxy was born in Boise, Idaho, on August 31, 1954, the oldest child of Lyle Emery and Dian Frisby Buhler.

Roxy was preceded in death by her daughters Toddi and Tawny Jacobs.

She is survived by her husband, Robert James Norman of Caldwell; her sons, Trenity Jacobs of Nampa, Tjay Jacobs of Merced, California; her stepsons, Jared Norman of Santa Cruz , California, Timothy and Matthew Norman, both of Caldwell; her parents Lyle and Dian Buhler of Caldwell; her brothers, Roger Buhler of Cascade, Idaho, Reed Buhler, of Longmont, Colorado, Ryan Buhler, of Caldwell, Idaho, Rich Buhler of Monterrey, Mexico, her sister Romy Buhler Douglass , of Clarkston Washington, and by 11 1/2 grandchildren.

After kindergarten in Caldwell, Roxy’s family moved to Utah, returning to Caldwell in 1963 when Roxy was in the fourth grade.  The remainder of her schooling was in Caldwell at Washington Elementary, Jefferson Jr. High and Caldwell High School.

There are very few things that Roxy was content to observe from the sidelines.  She was rarely a spectator.  She played football with her brothers and their friends and was an accomplished horsewoman and barrel racer.  She was the Littlest Angel in her junior high production of that play; volunteered as a candy-striper while in high school and earned a spot on the CHS drill team.  She choreographed dances for her college ward’s participation in a dance festival and was a drill team member at Ricks College (now BYU-Idaho), graduating from there in 1974.  Roxy participated fully in life.
