On Thursday, June 3, 2021 Rossie transitioned to be with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents: John King and Anne Mae Barnes, three sisters: Mary Jane Miller (Julius), Susie B. Valdez (Andre) and Margaret Carter and several nieces and nephews.
Rossie leaves to cherish her memories a devoted family. She leaves behind five children: Rosalyn Marshall of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Dr. Ranette Marshall of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Rachelle Marshall of Capitol Heights, Maryland, Vermel Carter of Capitol Heights, Maryland and Raynard Marshall of Capitol Heights, Maryland. Three beloved Granddaughters: Ranika Marshall, Jasmine Norwood and Gabrielle E. Marshall. Two Brother-in-laws; Walter Marshall of Cheraw, South Carolina and Howard Marshall of Washington, DC; one Sister-in-law Bettye Marshall of Washington, DC. Host of devoted nieces, nephews and cousins as well as close friends known as extended family/sisters; Shirley Ginyard, Rose Harrison, Dorothy Pope and the late Dee Short.
