Ross Tanner Coughlin, 31, of Plainville, Connecticut, passed away unexpectedly on September 1, 2017.
Ross was born to Deanna and David Coughlin, both of Plainville, on September 18, 1985 in Hartford Connecticut. He graduated from E.C. Goodwin Technical High School in 2003, and had since gone on to work in the fields of machinery and construction.
Ross was a skilled and talented carpenter, and truly had a special ability to excel in all areas of the construction field. He was hard working; had the people skills to develop and maintain professional relationships, as well as the know-how, skills, and talent to get the job done right. It was his dream to rebuild and restart his own construction business, R.T. Construction.
Those who truly knew Ross, know that he had a big heart; was compassionate, and could always be counted on to lend a shoulder or anything he had, and could, to anyone. He had a bright and shining personality, great sense of humor and was frequently able to make people laugh when they needed it the most. He had an innate ability to recognize, understand, and accept other people’s struggles; and always kept an open mind. He was a very loving son, brother, uncle and friend and will be greatly missed.
He leaves behind two of his favorite people in the world, his niece Lauryn Guardarrama, and his nephew Trevin Guardarrama; his sister Kaylyn Guardarrama and her husband TJ; his mother Deanna Coughlin and Marty Brennan; his father and step mother David and Carolyn Coughlin, and their son LCpl Quinn Coughlin and his wife Marion; his step siblings Jay and Gina Brennan and their daughter Sofia, Jessica Brennan and Adam Mike, Garnet and Mike Czuchta; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Ross’s family would like to especially thank those who always reciprocated his nonjudgmental spirit and who demonstrated understanding and compassion for the struggles he too endured during his life.
