Mr. Ross L. Warren, 91, of 9215 Hwy 158 Stokesdale died on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at his residence with his loving wife, Edna by his side.

Ross was born on October 3, 1921 to the late Lewis and Gertrude Warren in Stokesdale, NC. he attended the public school system in Guilford County and graduated from Forsyth Technical College in Winston-Salem. He was married to the late Pearlie Mae Reid Warren for 51 yrs. He was a member of Cathedral of His Glory where he faithfully served as Elder and a former member at Warrensville Church of God for 35 yrs. Ross worked at R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company for twenty-six yrs and retired in 1983. After the passing of his first wife, Pearlie Mae, he married the former Edna Eaton and they shared a beautiful life together for 18 yrs. Before his health failed him, Ross and Edna started a Bread Ministry, where they assisted to provide loaves of bread to several local churches and families who were in need. He had a giving heart, helping those around him who called out for help.

Ross was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Cecil Warren, L. W. Warren and Garlin E. Warren; sisters, Violet Small, Opel Wadelington, Hazel Broadway, India Daniel, and Ethel Shipp. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Edna of the home; daughter, Ophelia (James) Livingston of Sanford, NC and step-daughter, Yvette Eaton of Reidsville, NC; son, Brandon Eaton Warren of the home, stepson, Robert Eaton, Jr. of NJ, granddaughters, Jamelia, Janel, and Jewel Livingston; grandson, Jason Eaton; sister, Australia Brunson; brother, Cline (Martha) Warren; sister-in-law, Mary Smith, brothers-in-law, Anderson Daniel and Arthur Shipp, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and special friends of the family.
