Ross Alan Alexander, 83, Denver, Colorado passed away on Friday, November 27 at his home in Denver, Colorado.   Ross was born August 11, 1937 in Hoxie, Kansas, the son of Earl Alexander and Anita Griffie Alexander in Graham County Kansas.

He was self-taught mechanic and most of his time was spent farming and had little time for extracurricular activities. He played some basketball in high school.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening all his life.
He dropped out of high school and went into the Korean War 1955, and returned and married his childhood sweetheart Ruth Jones, Hill City, KS and became step-father Cynthia Napue on August 21, 1958.  In that union two children were born; Debra Alexander and Julie Alexander. He went into the Vietnam war and remained until earlier 70’s.

He divorced and never remarried but had a special friend Carol Johnson who he dated for 25 years.
Ross was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Louise Alexander-Scott; and two brothers; James Alexander and Leslie Alexander. Survivor left to cherish his memories are one brother Michael Alexander, Portland Oregon; a sister Carol Alexander, KS City, Missouri, and two daughters, Debra Alexander (O’Hara) Wilson, Hill City; Julie (Jacques) LeHouillier and step-daughter Cynthia Napue and nine grandchildren.
