Rosolino Benedetto Candela, 84, of Colts Neck, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. Rosolino, fondly known as “Russell”, was born on June 11, 1937 in Brooklyn, New York, where he grew up and met his beloved wife, Evelyn. On June 2, 1957, Russell and Evelyn were married and began their life together in Brooklyn, where they remained to raise their family. Before his retirement, Russell owned and operated his own beverage distribution company for many years, Roso-lino Beverage Company. Most of all, Russell was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend to many. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
He was predeceased by his parents, Rosolino and Michaela (Alfi) Candela. Russell is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 64 years, Evelyn (Nicholaides) Candela, and his loving children, Russell Candela and his wife, Robbyn, of Freehold, Kimberly Scarola of Colts Neck, and Nicole Marcantonio and her husband, Philip, of Freehold. Russell also leaves behind his dear sister, Sadie Candela of Mount Kisco, New York, and his cherished grandchildren, Russell Candela, Jesse Scarola, Dayna Candela, Nicholas Grimaldi, Craig Candela, and Philip Marcantonio.
