Rosina Crisci Hunt, 82, of 44 Ray Ave., Bellingham, Mass., formerly of 9 Robin Lane, Northford, passed away Dec. 14, 2011 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, Worcester, Mass. after a short illness. She was the widow of Jason Hunt Sr. Mrs. Hunt was born in New Haven Nov. 15, 1929, daughter of the late Carmine and Angela Maria Morgillo Crisci. Rosina, also known as “Cris Crisci”, was a pioneer in women’s semi-professional sports, playing both basketball and softball for several teams in Connecticut. She was known for her hook shot. She is survived by one son, Jason Robert Hunt Jr.; two daughters, Hon. Rosina Leah Hunt and Rebecca Maria Hunt-Kasarjian; two brothers, Louis and Anthony Crisci; three sisters, Alesandra Nichols, Lucy Ahern and Ann Marie Maher; and eight grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Judith Ann Hunt, two brothers, Edward and Pasquale Crisci, and one sister, Carmel Tierney.
