“Lett” as she was affectionately called by her family was born October 25, 1960 in Lawrence County, Alabama to the late Warren G. McDaniel and Hattie Myrl Boyd. She departed this life on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at her residence. She was baptized into Christ at an early age at Byler Road Church of Christ. Rosie worked for many years at Sonoco Corporation as a cutting technician.
Mrs. Griffin was preceded in death by; her husband, Terry Griffin; sister, Sharonda Brackins; brother, Jackie McDaniel; grandparents, Carlton and Minnie Boyd and Gene and Maybell McDaniel; and nephew, Calvin Griffin.
Rosie Marie is survived by: her loving daughter, Nickole (Craig) Daniel of Double Springs; two granddaughters, Laquasha McDaniel of Moulton and Jasmine Daniel of Double Springs; one grandson, Brady Daniel of Double Springs; one sister, Clara (James) Thompson of Moulton; seven brothers, Rufus Hodges of Louisville, KY, James (Kat) McDaniel of Atlanta, GA, Willard (Cookie) McDaniel of Danville, Rlee Boyd, Kenneth McDaniel, Frankie McDaniel, Randy (Demetrice) McDaniel all of Moulton; mother-in-law, Mrs.Flora Mae Griffin; brothers-in-law, Olen Griffin Jr., Jeff Griffin; sisters-in-law, Bobbie Gene (Waymon) Polk, Janice Griffin; aunts, Bertha (James) McDaniel, Bessie Echols, Marie Truss, Lizann Whitson; uncles, Gene Boyd, Luther Boyd; 18 nieces, 10 nephews; a devoted niece, Whitney Brackins; a loving cousin, Jenetha Boyd; three special friends, Sharon Balentine, Bertha Sheppard and Jessie P.
