Rosie Lee Dixon was called home to glory in her 80th season on November 29, 2014 at Twin Rivers Rehabilitation Center.
Rosie was born on September 3, 1934 to the late Willie Mae Fort Williams and Roy Luster. She was raised by the late Charlie and Malissa House from the age of three.
She was a daycare teacher for twenty-five years teaching many children and later on their children as well. She was also a Foster grandparent for the Enrichment Center in Arkadelphia until her health failed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Dixon, parents, sister, Deasree Eason; who was also raised by Charlie and Malissa House, foster brother, Shurley House, brother, Clem Luster and a beloved grandson, Ingram Williams.
She is survived by four daughters, Ida Williams, Sandra Bryant, Patrece Smith all of Arkadelphia and Stacy Dixon of St. Peters, MO. Two sons, Dwight (Jean) Dixon of Prescott and Troy Dixon of Phoenix, Arizona, thirteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, many neices, nephews and other relatives. Three sister-in-laws, Zelma Smith of Arkadelphia, Eloise Blackmon of Hot Springs and Betty King of California.
