Mrs. Rosie D. Bonner Coleman was born May 15, 1954 in Toxey, Al, to the late Arthur “Doc” and Rosie Lee “Sweet” Bonner, “Lullah” to some and “Lillan” to others as she was affectionally known was the youngest of seven children born to this union.

She departed this life on May 13, 2015, at Choctaw General Hospital, Butler AL.  She was preceded in death by both parents, two brothers, Arthur “Joe” and Ralph “Buster” Bonner; one sister, Bernice “Bonnie” Bonner; two daughters Natasha and Baby Girl Coleman, and a special friend, Rose Pearson.

She joined the St. Paul United Methodist Church and accepted Christ at an early age.  She remained a faithful member until her death.  November 20, 1973 she was united in marriage to Tom Coleman and to this union six children were born.

Left to cherish their memories of her are husband, Tom Coleman; sons, Anthony (Trina) Coleman of Gulfport, MS, Shawn (Kim) Coleman Sr. of York, AL, Pete (Timika) Coleman of Millry, AL; daughter, Seletha (Gary) Daily of Toxey, AL; 21 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Carrie “Tootie” Bonner of Toxey, AL and Christine (Elder Johnny) Robinson of Thomasville, AL; brother, John “Babydoll” Bonner of Erie, PA; lifelong friends, Ruth “Winnie” Rembert, Min. Shirley McKinckles and Ruby Terrell; a host of nieces, nephews, aunt, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and cousins who loved her dearly.
