Rosemary Mouzin, 82, of Vincennes, IN, passed away Monday April 19, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospital with her family at her side.

Rosemary was born April 28, 1938 in French Lick, IN, the daughter of Paul Joseph and Mamie Alice Thurston Hughes. She was a graduate of Alfordsville High School and studied business management at Vincennes University.

She was a claims associate for Work One for many years and held membership at Old Cathedral/St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She held memberships in the K of C Auxiliary, Elks Auxiliary and the Harmony Society.

She married Lawrence “Larry” Mouzin, and they made their life together for over 18 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. Rosemary loved her flowers that she directed Larry to plant and virtually anything Coca-Cola.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Mouzin of Vincennes, IN; children, Deb Cunningham (Ken) of Palm Beach Gardens, FL;  Pam Gennett of Fishers, IN; Lynn Ellis (Greg) of Southlake, TX; Jackie Foley, (Donnie) of Vincennes, IN; and Melissa Bennett (Roy Hancock) of Terre Haute, IN. Grandchildren, Brent Ellis, Mitch Ellis (Lauren), Matt Ellis, Bryan (Lisa) Gennett, Lauren (Vik) Madan, Adam (Anna) Elkins, Kyle Foley, Delaney Foley, Tamara Litterick,  Kyleigh Cunningham, and Xavier Bennett. Her great-grandchildren, Tanner Litterick, Tucker Litterick, Stella Ellis, Skipper Ellis, Olsen Gennett and was excited expecting her 6th great grandchild, Baby Madan. She is also survived by her brothers, Harold Hughes (Mary) of Greenwood, IN; Bill Hughes of Washington, IN; Gerald Hughes (Nancy) of Avon Park, FL; and a sister Wilma Delaney of Washington, IN.She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Edward Hughes, Mike Hughes and Richard Hughes.
