Rosemary Joyce McDonald, 71, of Grafton, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020 at Duke University Hospital, Durham, NC. She was born in Grafton, December 18, 1948 daughter of the late Lawrence and Sylvia Mason Jackson, Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband of fifty- five wonderful years, Charles William “Chuck” McDonald, Jr., September 18, 2020.
Rosemary took great pride in serving the Lord and it was portrayed as she shared her time and faith with her family and friends. She loved to travel with her beloved husband Chuck and share their love for the Lord as they spread the Word. Rosemary was the person who became a friend to all who met her. She worked for the Calhoun Board of Education as a secretary and Minnie Hamilton Hospital as a transcriptionist for many years.
Rosemary is survived by two children, Dawn M. Lane and husband Russ, Leland, NC. Charles W. “Billy” McDonald lll and wife Angie, Heaters, WV, five grandchildren, Zach Lane (Donna), Kelsey Lane, Amber Long (Clifton), Seth McDonald, Aubree McDonald, three great children, Slate Lane, Lillian Long, Amelia Long, one brother, David Jackson and wife Susan Morgantown, one nephew, Will Jackson, and her beloved McDonald Family
