Rosemary Hopkins “Rosie”, 83, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away September 7, 2016. She was born March 10, 1933 in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Norman Elder and Ruth (Moody) Elder. Rosie worked at CBS for many years. Rosie was a Home Interior Representative and she also worked at Olive Garden for several years. She was preceded in death by her husband James C. Hopkins; her parents; grandchildren Jimmy Shuler, Lacy Phillips and Michael Phillips; brother Richard Elder; and Lloyds children Lloyd Phillips and Robert Phillips She is survived by her companion of 25 years Lloyd Phillips; children Maryann Filchak and James C. Hopkins Jr. (Christina); grandchildren Amy, Bethany, Melanie, Tiffany, and Jami; several great grandchildren; Lloyds children Brad Phillips, Dallas Almeda, Lynna Reynolds, and Kim Hughes; siblings Norman Elder, Carolyn Harns, and Karen Bieker; and aunt Faye Elder.
