Rosemary Behringer died March 11th with her family by her side in Chandler, Arizona. Rosemary, known to all as Romy, was born in Fargo, North Dakota July 4, 1938 to Richard and Lizell Thurlow. Romy was a mother, a best friend, a counselor, a teacher and a cheerleader to all who knew her. Her quick wit turned tears to hysterical laughter; her sincere encouragement turned weakness to confidence; her sweet wisdom turned turbulent times steady. She was a fashionable firecracker who lived life to the very last drop. Whether you knew Romy for just a moment or spent decades admiring her, your heart is forever changed. Romy is survived by her loving husband, Norm of 30 years, her brothers Joel and Harry Thurlow, her three sons Cleve, Steven and Matthew and their spouses Vickie, Christi and Danielle, grandchildren Stephanie, Christopher and his wife Amanda, Spencer, Kyle and great granddaughter Penelope. Romy is also survived by Norm’s children: Nancy and Karen, Kenny, Steve and Maren and Jimmy, and their children Corinne, Virginia, Jamie, Jessica and Emily. Lastly, Romy is survived by many special friends, all of whom were made to feel like a part of her family.
