Mrs. Rosemary Ann Deem, 101,of Indianapolis, passed away on the morning of Friday, August 24, 2018 at her niece’s home in Columbus. She was born April 26, 1917 in Indianapolis to Charles and Amelia (Sonntag) Presser.
Rosemary attended Sacred Heart School in Indianapolis and in her younger years had worked for The Real Silk Company during World War II and for RCA and finally at Mallory Manufacturing Company. After she met and married the love of her life, Leonard Deem, she devoted her life to being a homemaker. She and Leonard had lived in Mesa, Arizona for 23 years before returning to Indianapolis. She loved cooking, dancing and traveling with her husband.
Rosemary is survived by her niece and caregiver, Carolyn (George) Gross and two great-nieces.
She is preceded in passing by her parents, her husband of over 64 years, Leonard and her brother, Charles Presser.
