RoseMarie Grisham, 83, of Meredosia, IL died Monday, June 15, 2009, at Heritage Manor South in Beardstown, IL.
She was born February 21, 1926, in Missouri Valley, Iowa, the daughter of Ira DeLos and Edith Marie Robertson BoDine. She married Don Grisham on April 6, 1946, in Joliet and he preceded her in death on June 27, 1997.
She is survived by one son, Tom (wife, Julie) Grisham of St. Charles, IL.; two grandchildren, Colleen Grisham of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, and Christine Grisham of San Diego, CA.; and two cousins, Doug Schiefen of Joliet and Gerald (wife, Myra) Robertson of Houston, TX.
Early in her life, Mrs. Grisham worked for Nesco in Jacksonville. She then worked at the Meredosia Post Office, retiring in 1986 after 25 years of service. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Meredosia American Legion Auxiliary and was a 50 year member of Order of the Eastern Star. She and her husband enjoyed travelling, especially their winter trips to Florida. She also enjoyed being with friends.
