Rose Virginia Clay Lott, 83, went to be with the Lord on October 28th, 2015.
She was residing in Crestview Rehabilitation Center in Crestview, Florida at the time of her passing. Rose was born on May 14th, 1932 to Kiah and Eleanor Clay in Golden, MS. She was the middle child of eleven children. Rose grew up in Cullman County, AL, and graduated from Dowling High School in 1950. She married her childhood sweetheart, Donald, in 1951. Together, they raised three children in Tallahassee, Florida. Rose was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Donald Ray Lott. Rose is survived by her three children, Roxanne (Levan) Tew of Crestview, FL, Mitchell Lott of Tallahassee, FL, and Donna (Steve) Butler of Calvary, GA; seven grandchildren, Lisa Babler, Jason Lott, Julie Tew, Amber Lott, Kaylee Prescott, Stephanie Wisham, and Elliot Butler; and two great-grandsons, Jaydon Lott and Carson Lott. Inurnment will be at Tallahassee Memorial Gardens.
