Rose Simmons Bryant 73, of 7616 Disappearing Trail in Roseboro passed away Monday, June 20, 2022, at her home.
Rose was born March 19, 1949, in Sampson County to the late Eunice and Junius Simmons. She worked for Dodger Industries, Inc. in Clinton as a seamstress. Rose enjoyed going to the stockyard on Thursdays and shopping at Roses and Walmart. She could often be found doing large print word puzzles of any kind and made it a habit to date them. Rose loved cleaning her home. She was very curious about her kitchen, making sure nothing was out of place. Clothes were hung outside on the clothesline and her bed was made daily. Rose found moments of peace while spending time in her garden. Most of all Rose loved dancing. She danced her heart out at the Moose Lodge and any other party she attended but she lived for the Beaver Dam Jam party held every year. It was her favorite part of the year.
Rose is preceded in death by her daughter: Mary Ann Fisher; mother: Eunice Simmons; father: Junius Simmons; brothers: Junius Simmons, Corbin Simmons, and Donald Simmons; and her sister: Alma Fields.
