Rose Rossi (nee Fallucca), 98, of Ortley Beach, Toms River Twp., NJ, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at Regency Grande Nursing & Rehab Cemetery, Dover, NJ. Born in Newark, NJ, she lived in Irvington, NJ, where she raised her family and worked for Bamberger’s in Newark, NJ for many years.
She summered in Ortley Beach for 50 years before moving there permanently 43 years ago. These were the Golden Years that she enjoyed the most. Rose, along with her late husband Louis, owned Rossi’s Rent-A-Rama in Ortley Beach for 45 years and Rossi’s Miniature Golf in South Seaside Park for 10 years before retirement.
She was predeceased by her husband, Louis, in 2000, a brother Gerald Fallucca and a sister Frances Dileo. Rose is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Louis and Phyllis Rossi of Wharton, NJ, a daughter, and son-in-law Diana and Robert Ruggiero of Brick, NJ, 4 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
