Rose P. Lunn, age 82, longtime resident of Milford, and most recently of Whitney Manor in Hamden, beloved wife of the late Kenneth J. Lunn, Sr., passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at St. Raphael’s Hospital. Born on April 14, 1929 in Derby, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Theresa Piccerrelli Salemme. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #662 of Derby, and a member and past President of the Ladies Auxillary of Derby.
She is survived by her son, James W. Lunn, of Pittsburgh, PA, and her six daughters, Margaret R. Syc (Frank), and Patricia Dolceaqua (Michael), of Milford, Kathryn Hooke (Dana), of West Haven, Rosemarie Pacenti , of Bridgeport, and Deborah Walmsley (Edward), of FL. Also her sister Phyllis Ettore of Milford, seventeen cherished grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Rose was predeceased by her son, Kenneth J. Lunn, Jr., and her brother, Ralph Salemme.
