On April 4, 2006, Celia Rosedna “Rose” McMahan of Severn passed away at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Wallace E. McMahan Sr. for 48 years; Devoted mother of Barbara Weber, Wallace E. McMahan Jr. and Ronald W. McMahan; Loving sister of Wilma Bruffy, Roscoe Green, Lucy Hampton, Jim Green, Grace Jarvis and the late Lee Meehan; Cherished grandmother of Lou, Terry, Donna, Tiger, Kim and Lisa and great-grandmother of Bobby, Jay, Jason, Tiffany, Lauren, Cody, Brandy and Stacey. Rose worked as a waitress at the Bonfire Restaurant also did upholstery work. Rose’s family had a dairy farm in Harford County. She was a member of Severn Baptist Church. Rose loved to bake and the family will always remember her awesome cinnamon crunches and her homemade hot rolls and pies.
