Rose Mary Shahan, 62 of Fellowsville, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Mon General Hospital with family by her side. She was born May 10, 1952 in Lewis County, daughter of the late John Junior and Mary Jo Litzinger Gordon. Rose graduated from Grafton High School, Class of 1970. She was a homemaker, loved reading, doing puzzles, playing cards (WV Rummy), WVU Sports, Volunteering a lot at the schools, babysitting the grandchildren, and going to the grandchildren’s sporting events. She was a member of the VFW Post 3081 Ladies Aux. Rose is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Gerald Lee Shahan; nine children, Crystal Webb and Michael, Grafton, Gregory E Shahan and Johnna, Harmony Grove, Martina L “Tina” Cartwright and Paul, Grafton, James L Shahan and Teresa, Germantown, MD, Timothy A Shahan and Stephanie, Logan, Utah, Kimberly M Lansberry and Chuck, Evansville, Jennifer R Sanders and Daniel, Fellowsville, Sara S Shahan, Fellowsville, Eli J Shahan, Fellowsville; eighteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one brother, John Edward Gordon and Mary, Grafton; one sister, Linda Rager and David, Grafton; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by one grandchild, Leah R Webb, two sisters, Nancy Austin and Judy McClain.
