     Rose Heilman, 92, of Williamsport, passed away with her daughter by her side, Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Manor Care North.

     Born August 17, 1927, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Rocco and Mary (Stanzione) Martinozzi.

     Rose was a 1945 graduate of Williamsport High School where she was a proud A+ student and part of the National Honor Society. She worked as a payroll clerk for Weldon’s retiring in 1989. Following retirement Rose volunteered at the Williamsport Hospital for over 25 years and also was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She was a member St. Joseph the Worker Parish and a member of the former Ascension Church where she volunteered in many capacities. Rose enjoyed playing cards in her card club, was a member of the former Antlers Club and served on the election board for Old Lycoming Township for 50 years.

     Surviving are three children; Michael B. Heilman (Megan) of Ocracoke Island, N.C., Susan M. Best (Allen) of South Williamsport and David L. Heilman (Gina Krowka) of Philadelphia; five grandchildren Joshua, Taryn, Kyrie, Blair, and Matthew; three great grandchildren Ava, Stihl and Graham, a brother Fiore M. Martinozzi of Williamsport, a sister Josephine Bush (Jim) of Williamsport, a sister-in-law Jean Martinozzi of Williamsport, and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

     In addition to her parents Rose was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Donald L. Heilman on June 19, 2007; a sister, Mary Boatman and her husband Harry, sister, Sarah Shebest, and her husband Lenny, a brother Angelo Martinozzi, and a sister-in-law Leona Martinozzi.
