Rose Marie Zickel, 77, of Anderson, passed away on November 24, 2013 at the St. Vincent Hospital Indianapolis, IN.
She was born on June 30, 1936 in Louisville, Kentucky and resided most of her life in Anderson. She worked as a registered nurse in surgery and longterm care resulting in becoming Director of Nursing at several facilities helping them comply with state laws. She was a loving wife, mother, nanna, avid painter and quilter. Rose is survived by her loving spouse of 56 years, Tom Zickel of Anderson, IN, children, Kristen Terry Michael, Denise Rick Foley, David Zickel, 9 grandchildren including Joshua Michael, Megan Michael, Lindsey and Courtney, brother, George Woods, several nieces and nephews and loving four legged friends, Coco and Gracie.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mayme Lee Barnett Woods, father, James Woods, son, Robert Zickel, and four siblings.
