Rose Marie Varrecchia Vitiello, 56, of New Haven, CT died Aug. 27, 2012 in New Hampshire as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident; born in New Haven, Feb. 10, 1956, daughter of the late Andrew & Frances Cucurello Varrecchia. She was a hairdresser and had also worked as a CNA at Hospice, an EMT, and was the first female volunteer fire fighter in East Haven. She is survived by sons Philip Vitiello Jr. of Milltown NJ, and Daryl Vitiello Sr. (fiancee, Jamie Maturo) of East Haven, grandchildren Daryl Vitiello Jr. & Mikayla Maturo, brother & sister Andrew & Susan Varrecchia of New Haven & sister MaryAnn Papa of North Branford. In her youth Rose was an accomplished ballet dancer. She loved reading and animals. Her sons & grandchildren were the light of her life. Rose was devoted to helping others and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
