Rose Marie Davis was born on May 29, 1933, in Lake Park, Iowa to Alhainen and Opal (Liffick) Davis. She was 1 of 8 children. She married Franklin Houwen in 1950. From that union, they had one and only child, Linda (Houwen) Warriner of Perry, Iowa. In 1974, Rosie married Warren Schroeder. Rosie worked different jobs throughout her life. She was also an avid golfer.
