Rose Marie (Rizzuto) Rutherford
Rose Marie (Rizzuto) Rutherford passed away on Saturday, October 2nd, 2021. She was born to Jennie and Joe Rizzuto in La Junta, Colorado on December 7th, 1925. She grew up in La Junta and graduated from La Junta High School in 1944. She married Ben Rutherford. They lived in Tooele, Utah for 6 years and then moved to Roy, Utah. She worked at Montgomery Ward retail and catalog stores, also Sears. She retired in 1991.
Rose was an avid gardener, she loved her roses, bowling and traveling. But most of all, she loved spending time with her grandkids.
She had 2 sons, Pete and Steve. She is survived by 1 son, Steve (Kathy), daughter in law Margie, 3 granddaughters, 4 grandsons, 10 great granddaughters and 9 great grandsons, and 2 great great grandkids. She is preceded in death by husband Ben, son Pete, 1 grandson (Travis), her parents, 1 brother (Jimmie), and 2 sisters (Marge and Evelyn).
