Rose Krankall, age 86 of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Rudolph Krankall, passed away peacefully Friday, January 16, 2015 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. Born in Fairfield the daughter of the late Andrew and Barbara Volarics, she had been a lifelong town resident.
She will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors include a beloved daughter and son, Linda Odice of Fairfield and Rudy Krankall and his wife Martha of Shelton, formerly of Monroe; five loving grandchildren, Renea Jacobs, Christine Soderquist, Diane Leeney, Matthew Krankall and Aaron Krankall; four cherished great-grandchildren, Graham, Dane, Nina and Aaron, Jr. and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Barbara Rossi, Lou Filo, Helen Magyar, and a half sister Mary Kilman.
