Rose M. (Mancuso) Guzzi, 86, of Sycamore St., Clarksburg, passed away on Sunday, July 10, at her home following a brief illness. She was born September 18, 1924, daughter of the late Joseph and Angeline Ware Mancuso. Her husband, Anthony (Tony) P. Guzzi preceded her in death in January 2001. Surviving are two sons and daughter-in-laws, James A. and Susan Post Guzzi, Clarksburg, and Joseph E. and Bridget Bish Guzzi, Clarksburg; three grandchildren, Anthony J. Guzzi, Clarksburg, Mrs. Mark (Christine) Basco of Albany, NY, Mrs. John (Jamie) Esposito of Saratoga Springs, NY, three great grandchildren, Nicholas and Sierra Basco and Johnny Esposito, 5 sisters, Ms. Louise Mancuso, Stonewood, Mrs. Donald (Virginia) Casto, Lancaster, Oh., Mrs. Tony (Frances) Audia, Dearborn, Mi., Mrs. Tony (Carmella) Karakiozis, and Mrs. Anna Marie Renzelli, both of Bridgeport; sister-in-laws, Antoinette Mancuso, Dearborn, Mi., Mrs. Connie Mancuso and Mrs. Angie Guzzi, Clarksburg, and one brother-in-law, Joe Mancuso, Clarksburg, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Mrs. Mary Arbonaise, and one brother Gabriel (Homer) Mancuso. Rose was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Clarksburg, a lifetime member of the women’s Auxiliary of VFW #573, and head commissioner of election polls and along with her husband she was owner of the Community Market in Broad Oaks for over 20 years. All who knew Rose loved her, as she always had a kind word for everyone. She loved her family and friends and getting together with them was a top priority.
