Rose M. Kaufman, 92, of Hudson Lake, Indiana passed away at 4:15 a.m., Friday, July 8, 2016 in Miller’s Merry Manor, Wakarusa, Indiana, where she had resided for the last 5 A½ years. Rose was born on October 16, 1923 in Chatham, Ontario, Canada and had live in Hudson Lake for 57 years. She is survived by her children, Robert C. Gerhardt of New Carlisle, Indiana, Carol A. “Kay” Keller of South Bend, Indiana and Wayne M. (Carol) Gerhardt of Rolling Prairie, Indiana; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Chuck and John Komon both of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Kaufman; one son, Kevin Gerhardt; one grandson; and her sister, Mary Magerka.
