Rose M. Hornecker, 89, of Oglesby passed away March 30, 2011 at her home.
Rose was born February 4, 1922 in LaSalle to Charles and Martha (Lijewski) Brandt. She married Robert G. Hornecker on July 29, 1943 in an All Faith Church in Fort Knox, KY. She was a member of the Holy Family Church, Oglesby. She worked at Westclox for 42 years in various departments, including hairspring, foot press and finally in the inspection. She was in the last group to leave Westclox when Talley Ind. closed the plant.
She is survived by her husband Robert, nephew Raymond J. (Julie) Brandt, of Peru and great nephew Justin Brandt. She is preceded in death by her parents and twin brothers Ray and Roy Brandt.
