Rose Lee “Rosie” Story, 67, of Flemingsburg, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at her residence with family and friends by her side.
Born March 12, 1949, in Fleming County, Rosie was the daughter of the late Nolan Lee and Hattie Miller Story.
Rosie was a local hairdresser for over 40 years. She cooked at the VFW for many years and was a Kentucky Colonel.
She is survived by her son, Scott (Jenna) Yarbrough of Waynesville, N.C.; grandchildren, Knox and Nina Yarbrough; brother, Fredrick (Barb) Wade of West Liberty; sisters, Patti Bryant, Ida Hinton, Judy (Ronnie) Little, and Jean Mattox, all of Flemingsburg; aunt, Bonnie Miller; many nieces and nephews; and her dog, Sparky.
In addition to her parents, Rosie was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Lee “Tiny” Story; her son, Darrell Story; and a brother, Lewis Wade.
