Rose Lee Jones Morasco, 94 of Grafton, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021 at her home with family by her side. She was born May 29, 1927 in Taylor County, daughter of the late Fred S. and Lodemah Findley Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband Sam Morasco on January 6, 1998.
Rose graduated from Grafton High School, Class of 1946. She was a beautician in her home for many years. She was active with St Augustine Catholic Church where she participated in so many aspects of the church. Rose was a volunteer with Grafton High School Art Department and painted many sets for the school plays. She was always lending a helping hand where her talents could be utilized. She was also a member of the Grafton Woman’s Club. She loved her cats and dogs.
In addition to her parents and husband, Rose was preceded in death by a son, David Morasco; eight brothers and sisters, Estel Jones, Forrest Jones, Findley Jones, Hugh Jones, Robert “Bob” Jones, Genevieve Wildman, Roberta Jones, and Eva Dale Jones.
She is survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
