Rose Jimenez Soto, 58, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at her home in Harlingen, Texas.
Rose was the daughter of Pedro Alfonso Jimenez and Jesusa Anzaldua Jimenez. She was raised in La Feria, Texas, and was a graduate of La Feria High School and Pan American College in Edinburg. Rose found a calling in teaching as an instructor at TSTC in Harlingen for many years. She was a positive influence on the lives of many who entered her classroom.
Rose was a loving mother and a caring friend with a big heart. She was selfless toward everyone around her, and the biggest supporter of her sons and grandson. Some of her favorite things included traveling, watching the Cowboys and Spurs, spending time with family, and enjoying a margarita with her best friends.
Rose is survived by her siblings Alfredo Jimenez, Beatrice Kirk, Alfonso Jimenez, Wallie J. Trevino, Jose Luis Jimenez, and Enedina Ochoa.
Rose is also survived by her sons, Reynaldo Soto Jr. (Ashley Castillo Soto), Roberto Soto (Mary Ramirez Soto) and Rolando Soto. Rose had one grandson, Rey Hudson Soto.
