Rose J. Laskowski, nee Wierzbicki, of Wood Dale and recently of Geneva, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Delnor Hospital in Geneva at the age of 87.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard of 60 years. She is survived by daughter Sharon (Ray) Hagen-Krauchunas; son Rich (life partner Dave Shepard); two granddaughters, Amber (fiance Jeremy) and Victoria.
She was born September 17, 1925 in Chicago, daughter of John and Regina Wierzbicki, the youngest of six children.
She served in the WACS during WWII, and in her early career was an assistant buyer at Montgomery Ward’s headquarters.
At her request, there will be no wake.
