Rose Humphreys of River Ridge, LA, passed away on Friday, 9/16/16, after a brief illness. She was born on 7/3/31 in Ellisville, MS. She has lived in the New Orleans area for over 65 years and has resided in the River Ridge area for the past 28 years. Rose was a dedicated Christian, loving mother and grandmother and a friend to so many.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Helen Stubbs, her first husband, A. J. (Jimmy) Phillips, her second husband, Cliff (Kippy) Humphreys, two children, Cliff Humphreys, Jr., and Mike Humphreys, and one great grandchild. Survivors include her children, Alex Phillips of San Carlos, CA, Rick Phillips of New Orleans, Bruce Humphreys and Sandy Humphreys of River Ridge and a sister, Claudette Barnett of Schertz, TX. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
