Rose Esposito Cretella, 74, of 675 Townsend Ave., New Haven, Professor Emeritus at Southern CT. State University, passed away Nov. 18, 2013 in The Connecticut Hospice, Branford. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Cretella. Mrs. Cretella was born and raised in the Fair Haven section of New Haven, daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary Cuticello Esposito. She graduated WilburCrossHigh School in 1957 and from SCSU in 1961 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education.
