Rose Eileen M. Kenison, 91, of Bristol, passed away at 11:33 a.m. Sunday, May 1, 2011, at East Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Elkhart.
She was born in Van Horne, Iowa, on Oct. 10, 1919, to Ludwig and Mary (Fix) Paulsen, who preceded her in death, along with her husband, William A. “Bill” Kenison, and a son, Dennis W. Kenison.
Surviving are daughters Evelyn L. (James “Jim”) Newton of Bristol and Eileen J. Ulrey of Mesa, Ariz.; son Eldon C. “Pat” (Rita) Kenison of Phoenix; brothers Louis (Sharon) Paulsen of Abilene, Texas, and Ivan Paulsen of San Francisco; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Rose was a homemaker and lived in Arizona for more than 44 years until her health required her to move to Bristol to stay with her daughter.
