Rose Marcarelli Cusano, 91, of 358 Woodin St., Hamden, passed away Dec. 26, 2012 in The Arden House, Hamden. She was the widow of Emmy P. Cusano. Born in New Haven April 24, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Edmondo and Maria DeMennato Marcarelli. She was known to her family as “Auntie Boochie”. She was devoted to her family and everyone loved her. She will be missed by all. The Lord is getting an angel named Rose. She is survived by a son, Ronald P. Cusano of Hamden and a daughter, Barbara M. Cusano of East Haven. She was predeceased by two sisters, Mary DeGennaro and Amalia Marcarelli; and five brothers, Joseph “Pip”, Dionisio “Mac”, Julius E., Ralph J. and Thomas R. Marcarelli. She was the aunt of Dr. Ralph Marcarelli.
