Rose Crisanti Messina, 85, of James St., New Haven, passed away Aug. 26, 2016 in The Connecticut Hospice, Branford. She was the widow of Joseph A. Messina. Mrs. Messina was born in New Haven on Dec. 17, 1930, daughter of the late Tomas and Rosa Crisanti. She worked in the housekeeping department of The Clifton House for many years. She is survived by one son, Robert Messina of New Haven; a brother,Peter Crisanti of West Haven;13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, Louis and Joseph T. Messina Sr.
