Rose Scirocco Cassetta, 92 of 65 Messina Drive, East Haven passed away Nov. 18, 2010 in St. Raphael’s Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was the widow of Charles Cassetta. Mrs. Cassetta was born in New Haven October 1, 1918, daughter of the late Raffaele and Caroline Affinito Scirocco. She worked as a seamstress for Robby Len prior to her retirement and was a member of the ILGWU. She is survived by one son, Paul Cassetta of East Haven, with whom she resided; one daughter, Diane (Anthony) Mancuso of Goshen, N.Y.; a brother, Michael Scirocco in Florida; a sister, Phyllis Bartlett of East Hartford; two grandchildren, Michael Mancuso and Christine Boulos; and one great grandson, Luke.
