Mrs. Rose Marie Carpenter Dennis, age 87, passed away Friday, February 21, 2014 at Conway Medical Center following an illness. Mrs. Dennis was born October 8, 1926 in Durham, NC, daughter of the late Mr. John Hubert Carpenter and the late Mrs. Eloise Gullie Carpenter. Mrs. Dennis worked with American Tobacco Company for over 32 years and was a member of Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church in North Myrtle Beach, SC.
Survivors include her two daughters, Bobbie Lammert Russell and husband, Billy of Durham, NC and Pam Parker and husband, Jim of Little River, SC; one grandchild, Charles “Chase” Lammert, IV and one sister, Elizabeth Slaughter of Hillsborough, NC.
