Rose passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at a Temple hospital. She was born August 20, 1946 in Lockland, Ohio to Robert Lee Whitaker and Louise Ethel (Ward) Whitaker.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a son Jimmy Burdine; three brothers, Wendel Whitaker, Robert Glen Whitaker and Joe Whitaker and a sister Mary Hines.
Survivors include three sons, Joseph Burdine, Jayme Burdine and Mitch Burdine; a daughter, Melinda Taylor; two brothers, George Whitaker and Carl Whitaker; two sisters, Barbara Little and Janice Douglas; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
