Roscoe Lee “Rocky” Sexton, 72, Bloomington Indiana passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. He was born December 20, 1948 in Bloomington Indiana, the son of Roscoe Lee, Sr. and Martha Lucille (Willoughby) Sexton.
Rocky retired as a sergeant with the Elletsville Fire Department and also worked at Security Pro 24-7. In his younger years he was a guitarist with the Gospelmen Quartet. He was also a retired IHSAA Baseball Umpire.
Rocky was a current member of the Bloomington Professional Firefighters Union #586.
Survivors include his wife, Janice (Bidwell) Sexton, two sons, Christopher Lee King, Gregory Tyler (Karen) King, daughter Heather Michelle (Thomas) Quinn, and step children, Matt (Sarah) Sater, Kristi (David) McArtor, Kelli (Josh) Sietzinger and sister Judy (Michael) Roberts. Rocky had 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson Tony Cristobal.
