ROSARIO GUADALUPE CHAVEZ, 68, entered eternal rest Saturday, April 23, 2016 surrounded by her family and members of her church.
Chayito or Lupe as her family and friends called her was born October 5, 1947 in Zaragosa, Chihuahua, Mexico to Margarito Garcia and Soledad Gallegos. Her family moved to Colonia Alamillo in Chihuahua where she grew up. She moved to Cd. Juarez for a bit and later returned home.
There she married Rito Chavez with whom she would share the rest of her life. A life filled with love and dedicated to her family and God. Throughout her life she was always a dedicated wife, caring mother and a friend to all. No one visited her home and left without first enjoying one of her home cooked meals. She will be missed by all her family and many friends.
Rosario is survived by her husband of 47 years, Rito Chavez; 4 children, Maria Rayitos (Javier Salcido) Chavez, Maria (Luis) Mireles, Rito Chavez Jr. and Joel (Yova) Chavez; 11 grandchildren, Susy, Luis (Casey), Stephany, Julian, Alejandra, Esteban, Briyitt, Adrian, Adilene, Joel Jr. and Sebastian and 2 brothers, Socorro and Mateo. Her most recent pride and joy 2 great-granddaughters, Rebecca and Emmaleigh along with countless nieces and nephews.
